Last July, my roommate, Anna, got married. These were the favors for the wedding guests.
The colors of the ribbons were the colors of the wedding. “The color of Starbursts”, as she deemed it. Yellow, orange, pink.
As bridesmaids, she took mercy on us and chose inexpensive bridesmaid dresses. They were black, tea-length and casual. And they went beautifully with the bright flowers.
Anna is one of those people who is ridiculously talented and manages to make everything she does beautiful, with infuriatingly little effort. The six months she lived with us, was the pinnacle of our apartment’s decorative charm.
And now she is married and she gets to make a beautiful home for her lucky husband. And lucky for me, they only live an hour away.
